Meetings:
The Conference in May is our main event and an ideal opportunity to meet up with other representatives and to share thoughts on current topics. Our very successful Conference in 2016 took place at Malvern St James Girls’ School where sessions included: Trends in Secondary Education; Protecting your Alumni; Everything you wanted to know about managing data; How do you get the best out of your database provider; Careers in university mentoring; How do you engage female alumni; and The role of volunteers. The Conferences always end with a lively forum and a dinner. The 2017 Conference will be held at Prior Park College in Bath on Saturday 13th May.
Apart from the Conference and the AGM (held in London in October), AROPS now organises a series of regional meetings around the country which allow representatives to meet neighbouring members in a less formal environment. These have proved very popular.
Subscription:
£50 per year (with discounts for smaller societies). Please email the Treasurer, Keith Balkham, on kbalkham@hotmail.com or write to him at:14 Cromwell Road, Alperton, Middlesex HAO 1JS.
